Hobie.  What can I say about Hobie.  I call him Hobie Monster most of the time, so that should explain what comes to mind.  Hobie showed up one day, around 08/08/2005, very timid and untrusting, sleeping in one of the horse stalls during the day.  Of course I started feeding him, and he moved a little closer to the house, into the garage.  Not long after that, he moved into the house with the rest of us.  The girls don't much like him, mainly because he is young and very full of energy, and way to active for them.  They have gotten better, at times you can catch one of them, sometimes two of them playing together with Hobie.  Except Billie.  Billie pretty much detests Hobie, blind and all she will go after him in a heartbeat.  Hobie takes advantage of her being blind and teases her at times, but pretty much stays out of her way.   Hobie is a very smart little boy, very hardheaded, and will bite someone if they come into his fenced area not escorted by one of us.  Hobie loves the water, loves to bark at my horses (trying to break that annoying habit), chews up stuff when mad at you, and can't be left alone or unsupervised with my cats.
